This is a self initiated project which I wanted to discover the links between two disciplines; Graphic Design and Architecture. I also needed to establish how I could represent this through a graphic output.
To do this, I looked existing blueprints from buildings around the World, and found letter forms within them. I then took these and stripped them back to their most basic letter form, whilst maintaining enough detail to resemble the original building design. I created them digitally using the Adobe Creative Suite before making them into a working typeface called, ‘GRAPHITECTURE’.
